Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, add the ground beef and chopped onion, cooking over medium heat until browned and onions are translucent (5 to 7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in sliced mushrooms, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, and stir to combine.
  5. Layer the beef mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Spoon mashed potatoes over the beef mixture to cover it well.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until edges are bubbly and top is golden.
