- 1½ cups mashed bananas (approximately 3 bananas)
- ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or any favorite)
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas with nut butter, stirring until blended. Add rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan, flattening it evenly across the bottom.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until edges are golden brown and center is set.
- Remove from the oven and cool completely before lifting the bars out and cutting them into squares or rectangles.
Notes
For varied flavors, try adding nuts, seeds, or adjust sweetness by increasing maple syrup. Store in an airtight container.
