Description

Rich chocolate brownies swirled with tart raspberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (for raspberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter over low heat in a medium saucepan, then remove from heat.
  3. Add sugar to the melted butter and stir well. Then, add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  4. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the butter mixture and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the greased baking pan.
  6. Mash the fresh raspberries with the tablespoon of sugar and spoon them over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter on top of the raspberries and swirl with a knife or toothpick.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Cool in the pan, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For added texture, consider mixing in chocolate chips or nuts. Store in an airtight container.
