Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup praline sauce
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, eggs, water, and melted butter; stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Cool the cake for 15 minutes.
  5. Poke holes all over the cake with the end of a wooden spoon.
  6. Mix the sweetened condensed milk and praline sauce, then pour it over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  7. Let it cool completely, then spread whipped cream over the top.
  8. Top with chopped pecans and drizzle with additional praline sauce if desired.
  9. Slice and serve, optionally with whipped cream or ice cream.
