Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining succulent shrimp and rich salmon in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the salmon.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and let thicken for about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet, coating in the sauce.
  11. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Best served hot with rice or pasta. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
