- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Fold in diced apples, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour cheesecake mixture over the crust.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting.
- Cut into squares and serve cold.
Notes
For a delightful twist, serve with whipped cream or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. These bars can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
