Ingredients

  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup creamy queso cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the crab meat, shrimp, creamy queso, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Warm the corn tortillas in a microwave for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
  4. Spoon a portion of the crab and shrimp mixture onto each tortilla, then roll them tightly to form taquitos.
  5. Fry the taquitos in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with salsa or sour cream.
