- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup creamy queso cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the crab meat, shrimp, creamy queso, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a microwave for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
- Spoon a portion of the crab and shrimp mixture onto each tortilla, then roll them tightly to form taquitos.
- Fry the taquitos in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with salsa or sour cream.
Notes
Serve hot with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. For a zesty kick, add lime wedges.
