- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly over both halves of the bread.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese generously over the buttered bread.
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- If desired, turn on the broiler for 1-2 minutes for a crispy top, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
