An easy and delicious one-pan meal combining ground beef, fresh broccoli, and gooey cheddar cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup cooked rice (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until it is translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, for about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in the salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to combine.
- Add the broccoli florets and beef broth to the skillet. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.
- If using, stir in the cooked rice until well combined.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, consider using ground turkey or chicken instead of beef. Additional vegetables such as bell peppers or carrots can be included for extra nutrition.
