Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup cooked rice (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes translucent.
- Next, add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to combine.
- Add the broccoli florets and beef broth to the skillet. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender.
- If using, stir in the cooked rice until everything is well combined.
- Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Notes
Pair with a side salad or crusty bread. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
