- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, ketchup, eggs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and shape it into a loaf.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For more flavor, add herbs and spices like garlic powder or Italian seasoning. You can also use different types of cheese like mozzarella or Monterey Jack.
