Description

A simple yet delightful meal combining tender chicken breasts and rich buttered noodles, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions (7-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  4. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter.
  6. Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the buttered noodles, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat or using whole wheat/gluten-free noodles as a substitute.
