A delicious fusion of brownies and chocolate chip cookies for an indulgent dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for the brownie batter. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add in the egg and vanilla, and beat until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, and salt, then fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour brownie batter into the lined dish, spreading it evenly. Spoon dollops of cookie dough on top, lightly pressing them in to create a marbled effect.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are firm and the center is gooey. Remove and cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar or serve warm with ice cream for an extra treat.
