Deliciously rich Chocolate Mousse Brownies combine fudgy brownies with creamy chocolate mousse, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl and mix with sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time and mix well, then add vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet batter until no lumps remain.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes.
  7. While baking, melt the semi-sweet chocolate and let it cool.
  8. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  9. Fold melted chocolate into whipped cream until smooth.
  10. Spread the mousse on top of cooled brownies.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  12. Cut into squares and serve.
