Description

A refreshing salad combining the sweetness of apples and grapes with a hint of cinnamon, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium apples, diced
  • 2 cups red grapes, halved
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Toast the nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from heat, let cool, then chop.
  2. Wash and dice the apples, keeping the skin on, and halve the grapes. In a large mixing bowl, combine apples and grapes, drizzling with lemon juice.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, cinnamon, and sea salt until well combined. Warm honey if too thick.
  4. Pour the cinnamon-honey dressing over the fruit mixture, add the toasted nuts, and gently toss to coat.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving. Garnish with extra cinnamon and whole nuts if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For freshness, consume within the first day.
