Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth, scraping down the bowl as needed.
  5. Reduce mixer speed to low and gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips.
  7. Use a small cookie scoop to portion out the dough, roll into balls, and slightly flatten each cookie.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set; allow cooling before transferring to a wire rack.
