Delightful cranberry bliss bars combining sweet and tangy flavors, perfect for special occasions or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool, then mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar, spreading it over the cooled bars.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.

For best taste, serve at room temperature. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to three months.
