Description

A warm and creamy dish featuring tender orzo pasta, chicken, and asparagus in a rich Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 cup fresh asparagus, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the chopped asparagus and cook for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt and create a creamy sauce.
  5. Mix in the cooked orzo, combining well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Use fresh grated Parmesan for the best flavor. Be cautious not to overcook the orzo.
