- ¼ teaspoon black pepper

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (for heat, optional)
- ½ cup chicken stock
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 ounces cream cheese (cut into cubes)
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, reserving ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Season ribeye steaks with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let rest before slicing.
- Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes, and add red pepper flakes if desired.
- Pour in chicken stock and simmer, then stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sprigs of thyme, ⅛ teaspoon black pepper, and grated parmesan, stirring until melted and sauce thickens. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
- Toss cooked spaghetti in the creamy sauce until well-coated.
- Plate the pasta, top with sliced ribeye, and garnish with minced parsley. Serve immediately.
