Ingredients
For the Chicken:
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
Olive oil
All-purpose flour
Salt
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Paprika
Onion powder
For the Creamy Sauce:
Butter
Onion, diced
Garlic, minced
Chicken broth
Heavy cream
Cream cheese, softened
Parmesan cheese, grated
Dried thyme
Dried parsley
(Optional) Red pepper flakes
For the Rice:
Long-grain white rice (Basmati or Jasmine)
Water or chicken broth

Instructions
1. Pat chicken dry. Dredge in flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet, sear chicken 3-4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
3. Add butter, sauté diced onion until soft, then add minced garlic for 1 minute.
4. Deglaze pan with chicken broth, scraping browned bits.
5. Stir in cream cheese until smooth. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, thyme, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
6. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and simmer on low 15-20 minutes until tender and cooked through.
7. Cook rice separately: simmer 1 cup rice with 2 cups water/broth and salt until fluffy (15-20 minutes).
8. Serve rice topped with creamy chicken and sauce. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Do not overcrowd pan when searing chicken.
Taste and adjust seasoning as you go.
Simmer uncovered to thicken sauce, or add broth/cream to loosen if too thick.
Pair with salad, green vegetables, or crusty bread.
Variations: add mushrooms, spinach, bell peppers, or peas.
Store leftovers 3-4 days refrigerated; reheat gently with splash of cream/broth.
