  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly steam the cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots until just tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute until lightly golden.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk and bring to a simmer, stirring until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the steamed vegetables with the cheese sauce until well coated.
