Delightful and healthier churro bites made in the air fryer, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, butter, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the mixture reaches a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the flour until a dough forms.
- Allow the dough to cool slightly, then add the eggs one by one.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pipe small bites of the dough onto a parchment-lined tray.
- Air fry the churro bites for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Coat the warm churro bites in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with chocolate or caramel sauce for dipping, and enjoy with a scoop of ice cream for a special treat.
