Delightful and crispy taquitos filled with seasoned beef and gooey cheese, perfect for snacks or meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Flour tortillas
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 tsp Spices (cumin, chili powder, garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • Oil (for frying or baking)
  • Sour cream (for serving)
  • Salsa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, adding spices, salt, and pepper to taste.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the beef mixture onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  5. If baking, brush with oil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy. If frying, heat oil in a pan and fry the taquitos until golden.
  6. Serve with sour cream and salsa for dipping.

Notes
