Ingredients

- 8 Flour tortillas
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 cup Cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 tsp Spices (cumin, chili powder, garlic powder)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- Oil (for frying or baking)
- Sour cream (for serving)
- Salsa (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, adding spices, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
- Spoon a small amount of the beef mixture onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- If baking, brush with oil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy. If frying, heat oil in a pan and fry the taquitos until golden.
- Serve with sour cream and salsa for dipping.
Notes
For a healthier option, bake instead of frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
