- 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large breasts halved)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the light or heavy cream and stir continuously to combine with the garlic.
- Add Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and allowing to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- If desired, add chopped spinach to the sauce and stir until wilted.
- Return the chicken to the pan, coating with the creamy sauce, and heat for an additional minute before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, serve with a sprinkle of extra Parmesan and fresh herbs. Enjoy with pasta, rice, or a side salad.
