- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper; mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a separate bowl, mix sliced onions, beef broth, and French onion soup mix until combined.
- Pour the onion and broth mixture over the meatballs in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, customize spices or add cheese to the meatballs. Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers for up to 4 days.
