Ingredients

- 1 package of phyllo dough
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pistachios
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Melt the butter and brush a sheet of phyllo dough, layering another sheet on top. Repeat for 4-5 sheets.
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture over the phyllo.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts and cinnamon on top.
- Fold the phyllo over the filling and brush with more melted butter.
- Repeat the process until all filling is used.
- Cut into squares or triangles.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey before serving.
Notes
Keep the phyllo dough covered while working to prevent it from drying out. You can try different nuts and spices for variations.
