- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 8 oz chocolate (for coating, e.g., semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Instructions
- Heat Treat the Flour: Place the flour in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave for about 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Set aside to cool.
- Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in the Remaining Ingredients: Add the cooled flour, vanilla extract, and salt to the creamed mixture and mix until combined.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Stir in the mini chocolate chips evenly.
- Form the Dough Balls: Roll the dough into balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the Coating Chocolate: Melt 8 oz of chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip the Dough Balls: Dip each dough ball into the melted chocolate fully and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Set the Chocolate: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set the chocolate coating.
