  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the cake mix, eggs, and melted butter in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, and sugar until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  7. Spread the whipped topping over the cake and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes
