Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, green beans, and peas. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
