Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 5-7 minutes).
- Gently fold in the flour until no dry spots remain.
- Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch round cake pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before transferring to a wire rack and dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
For an extra touch, add vanilla extract or citrus zest to the batter. Ensure eggs are at room temperature for better volume.
