- 1 pound tender roast beef, sliced
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the crescent roll dough package.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a solid rectangle.
- Layer the sliced roast beef evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese on top of the beef.
- Carefully fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and heat to prepare the Au Jus.
- Let the squares cool slightly, cut into squares, and serve with warm Au Jus for dipping.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
