Description

Delicious bites of tender roast beef and melted Swiss cheese wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound tender roast beef, sliced
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the crescent roll dough package.
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a solid rectangle.
  3. Layer the sliced roast beef evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese on top of the beef.
  5. Carefully fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and heat to prepare the Au Jus.
  8. Let the squares cool slightly, cut into squares, and serve with warm Au Jus for dipping.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
