Ingredients

- 2 cups macaroni
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix cooked macaroni with cheddar cheese, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Once chilled, form the mixture into small balls or bites.
- Roll each bite in breadcrumbs to coat.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding herbs or spices to the mixture. These bites can also be baked at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes.
