Description

Deliciously crunchy Fried Mac and Cheese Bites, perfect for parties or as a fun snack!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix cooked macaroni with cheddar cheese, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. Once chilled, form the mixture into small balls or bites.
  5. Roll each bite in breadcrumbs to coat.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding herbs or spices to the mixture. These bites can also be baked at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes.
