  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the stick of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Mix the melted butter with sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to the wet mixture; stir until smooth.
  5. Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let the brownies cool completely in the baking dish.
  7. For the frosting, dissolve instant coffee granules in heavy whipping cream.
  8. Beat the unsalted butter until light and fluffy, then gradually add powdered sugar.
  9. Combine the coffee-infused cream with the butter and sugar mixture, adjusting the consistency as needed.
  10. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and cut into squares to serve.
