- 1 (16 oz) package Refrigerated Biscuit Dough
- 2 cups Hot Water
- ¼ cup Baking Soda
- 4 tbsp Butter (melted)
- Coarse Salt (for topping)
- Vita Ice Acai Blueberry Pomegranate (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large, rimmed baking tray with parchment paper.
- Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces. Gently roll each piece into a ball-like shape.
- Combine the hot water and baking soda in a large bowl.
- Add the dough pieces to the hot water mixture in small batches and soak for 1 minute.
- Score the top of each dough ball with a knife. Place the scored side facing up on the prepared baking pan.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Enjoy them warm with your favorite dipping sauce and a refreshing drink!
Notes
Make sure the water is hot when mixing with the baking soda to achieve the best flavor and color.
