- 16 large mushrooms
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz garlic and herb cheese (like Boursin)
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems gently.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic and herb cheese, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the cheese mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix panko bread crumbs with olive oil and grated parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle the panko mixture over the stuffed mushrooms.
- Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
These mushrooms can be assembled ahead of time and baked later. They can also be frozen before baking.
