Description

Delicious stuffed mushrooms filled with a creamy garlic and herb cheese mixture, perfect as an appetizer for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 16 large mushrooms
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz garlic and herb cheese (like Boursin)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems gently.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic and herb cheese, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix panko bread crumbs with olive oil and grated parmesan cheese.
  6. Sprinkle the panko mixture over the stuffed mushrooms.
  7. Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm as an appetizer.

Notes

These mushrooms can be assembled ahead of time and baked later. They can also be frozen before baking.
