Description

A delightful twist on classic grilled cheese that combines buttery garlic bread with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering the edges.
  3. Place two slices butter-side down in a skillet. Add half of the cheese on each. Top with the other bread slices, butter-side up.
  4. Heat a skillet over low heat. Cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from the pan, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

Pairs well with tomato soup, side salad, or vegetable sticks. Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
