Ingredients

  • 200 grams halloumi cheese, sliced into 1 cm thick pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for frying
  • 2 tablespoons honey, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, or dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the halloumi slices and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the halloumi from the pan and place it on a serving plate.
  4. Drizzle honey over the fried halloumi, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  5. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the top and serve immediately.

Notes
