- 2 tablespoons olive oil, for frying
- 2 tablespoons honey, adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, or dried thyme
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the halloumi slices and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the halloumi from the pan and place it on a serving plate.
- Drizzle honey over the fried halloumi, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
- Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the top and serve immediately.
Notes
This dish is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently in a frying pan.
