Delicious and easy-to-make cheesy breadsticks, perfect for sharing and customizing to your taste.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until a soft dough forms.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and place it on a baking sheet.
  6. Brush the dough with melted butter mixed with minced garlic and oregano.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  9. Cut into sticks and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping. Can be stored in an airtight container or frozen for up to a month.
