Description

Delicious homemade churro bites that are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect for dipping in Nutella.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Nutella for dipping
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the flour and stir until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Use a piping bag to pipe small rounds of dough into the hot oil.
  7. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Remove churros from oil and drain on paper towels.
  9. Toss the churros in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon while they’re warm.
  10. Serve with Nutella for dipping.

Notes

Serve warm for the best taste. You can also provide additional toppings like whipped cream or chocolate sauce.
