- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chopped white onion (about 1 medium onion)
- 1 lb lean ground beef (93% lean recommended)
- 3 cups broccoli florets, chopped into small pieces
- 1 cup honey garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 cups cooked rice, for serving
- 1 tbsp olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Heat a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped onion. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Add the lean ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the chopped broccoli and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the mixture and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve over scoops of cooked rice, and enjoy!
