Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hot cocoa mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, hot cocoa mix, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract into the butter mixture until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mix to the wet ingredients and stir gently until combined.
  6. Fold in the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers remain soft.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill the dough for about 30 minutes for better flavor development and to prevent spreading.
