- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and onion is softened. Drain excess fat.
- Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
- Grease a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the pie dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and flour to create a smooth batter. Pour over the beef and cheese layers.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
