Description

Quick and easy creamy mashed potatoes made in the Instant Pot, perfect as a side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds of potatoes (such as Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the potatoes.
  2. Add the cubed potatoes and water to the Instant Pot.
  3. Close the lid and set the vent to sealing.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. Once done, perform a quick release.
  6. Drain excess water, then add butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
  7. Mash until creamy and well mixed.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra creamy potatoes, use whole milk or cream instead of regular milk. Add garlic cloves for garlic-flavored mashed potatoes.
