Quick and easy creamy mashed potatoes made in the Instant Pot, perfect as a side dish for any meal.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes (such as Russet or Yukon Gold)
- 1 cup of water
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and cube the potatoes.
- Add the cubed potatoes and water to the Instant Pot.
- Close the lid and set the vent to sealing.
- Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Once done, perform a quick release.
- Drain excess water, then add butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Mash until creamy and well mixed.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For extra creamy potatoes, use whole milk or cream instead of regular milk. Add garlic cloves for garlic-flavored mashed potatoes.
