Ingredients
Unsalted butter
Granulated sugar
Eggs
Vanilla extract
All-purpose flour

Pretzel sticks or green candy melts (for stems)
Black edible marker or black gel icing (for faces)

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper.
2. Melt butter and stir in sugar until combined.
3. Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
4. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
5. Combine dry and wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
6. Pour batter into pan, bake 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick shows moist crumbs.
7. Cool completely before cutting.
8. Lift brownies from pan, cut into circles or pumpkin shapes.
9. Melt orange candy melts or white chocolate with orange coloring.
10. Dip tops of brownies in melted coating, let excess drip off.
11. Add pretzel stick or green candy melt as stem.
12. Chill until coating sets.
13. Draw jack o’lantern faces with edible marker or black icing.
