- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 1 large cucumber
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves
- Olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar

Instructions
- Slice the tomatoes and cucumber into thick slices.
- Cut the mozzarella into slices.
- Arrange the cucumber slices on a serving platter.
- Top each cucumber slice with a slice of tomato and a slice of mozzarella.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.

For best texture, keep dressing separate until serving. Leftovers may release water, so drain excess liquid before serving again.
