Description

A fresh and light salad combining cool cucumbers, ripe tomatoes, and soft mozzarella, perfect for hot days or quick side dishes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the tomatoes and cucumber into thick slices.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into slices.
  3. Arrange the cucumber slices on a serving platter.
  4. Top each cucumber slice with a slice of tomato and a slice of mozzarella.
  5. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately.
