- 8 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Large lettuce leaves (for wrapping)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and onion, cooking until they are tender.
- Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- On a large lettuce leaf, place a portion of the meat mixture and sprinkle with Monterey Jack cheese.
- Roll up the lettuce leaf tightly around the filling.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients and serve!
