Description

Delicious marinated eggs rich in flavor, perfect on their own or as an addition to meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 6 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Korean Green Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 Red Chili (chopped, optional)
  • 3 Green Onion (chopped, optional)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 cup Soy Sauce
  • ½ cup Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil (optional)
  • ½ cup Water

Instructions

  1. In a pot, add enough water to cover all the eggs and mix in the salt and vinegar.
  2. Turn the heat up to medium-high and bring the water to a simmer.
  3. Once the water is boiling, carefully add in the eggs and let them cook for 6 minutes.
  4. After 6 minutes, remove the eggs and place them in a bowl of ice water for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Peel the eggs carefully and set them aside.
  6. In a container, combine the minced garlic, chopped green pepper, red chili, green onion, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and water. Mix until everything is combined.
  7. Add the peeled eggs to the marinade, ensuring they are covered well.
  8. Let the eggs rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Notes

Use fresh eggs for the best flavor and texture. Marinating overnight enhances flavor.
