- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- Buttercream frosting (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a larger bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing slowly until a soft dough forms.
- Roll small portions of dough into balls and flatten them slightly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are light golden and the centers remain soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Frost the cooled cookies with buttercream frosting and sprinkle with colorful decorations.
