- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Whisk together the eggs and milk in a separate bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, coating both sides.
- Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s coated completely.
- Coat the chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Pairs well with salad, steamed vegetables, or mashed potatoes. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days.
