- 1 package Mint Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz white or dark chocolate, melted (for coating)
- Green food coloring (optional)
- Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or chocolate drizzle for decoration
Instructions
- Crush the Mint Oreo cookies in a food processor or sealed bag until they are fine crumbs.
- Mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth.
- Shape the mixture into balls about one inch in diameter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Decorate truffles before the chocolate sets with sprinkles or extra melted chocolate.
- Chill again for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens completely.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
Truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for up to three months. Double dip for a thicker chocolate coating.
